The partnership between Financial Wealth Group, Bayarind, and BTN aims to launch Digikab powered by bale, a digital transformation initiative for regencies in Indonesia, starting with Minahasa Utara
Jakarta, 19 September, 2025: Digikab powered by bale Launch: PT Bank Tabungan Negara (BTN) officially announced the launch of Digikab powered by bale, evolving from the Super Power Apps ‘bale By BTN’. This product nomenclature is part of the ‘Bale Digitalisasi Kabupaten’ (BDK) program, designed to support the government's initiative to transform public services and increase local revenue (PAD).
Minahasa Utara as a ‘Role Model’: Minahasa Utara was selected as the ‘Role Model’ for the ‘Transformasi Digital Kabupaten’ (TDK) program by an independent team, comprising Financial Wealth Group, Bayarind, and BTN. Financial Wealth Group serves as the Strategic Leadership Team, Bayarind as the Platform Provider, and BTN as the BaaS (Bank as a Service) provider through bale by BTN.
Selection Based on Achievements: The selection of Minahasa Utara was influenced by the achievements under the leadership of Bupati Joune J.E. Ganda. Financial Wealth highlighted that Minahasa Utara's accomplishments made it a suitable candidate for implementing Digikab.
Objectives of the Collaboration: The collaboration aims to implement Digikab to enhance public services, optimize PAD through the digitalization of sectors like regional taxes, tourism, fisheries, agriculture, logistics, and other services.
Features of Digikab: Digikab includes features such as direct marketing of agricultural products by farmers, tourism services, digital food ordering with automatic tax remittance, and public services for remote island residents.
BTN’s Role in the Initiative: BTN's involvement, led by Thomas Wahyudi, includes providing financing for SMEs, enhancing county funding through BTN savings products, and implementing housing loan programs, including subsidized KPR.
Non-Financial Features: Digikab also offers non-financial services like a county information portal, tourism information, education information, a county forum, and digital health services.
BTN’s Broader Vision: According to Nixon L.P. Napitupulu, Digikab offers a digital ecosystem that benefits the local government and provides integrated financial solutions for the community.
APKASI Support: As the Secretary-General of APKASI, the Bupati of Minahasa Utara is optimistic about the collaboration's impact and hopes for similar implementations across 415 regencies in Indonesia.
